Organic Honeybush
Our Price: $5.50
This chamomile is grown in Egypt where it is readily drunk for its calming benefits. Named for its slightly apple taste, Chamomile is one of the oldest drinks. The advantage to infusions over traditional teas is that they often contain no caffeine.  We enjoy our Chamomile before bed time.  Good with honey or sugar (or maple syrp!). These Hibiscus flowers are grown in Egypt. Hibiscus gives an astringent bright fucsia brew that has a tropical fruit taste.  We enjoy drinking our Hibiscus over ice; brew a pot, and sweeten to perfection. The advantage to infusions over traditional teas is that they often contain no caffeine. With the bright colors of Hibiscus, no caffeine, and unique tropical taste, we believe it is a great alternative for ice-tea. Honeybush is technically not a tea, but an infusion.  It is made from the Cyclopia genus, within the fabaceae family (the same family that Rooibos belongs to).  This infusion contains no caffeine, and can brew quite strong.  In South Africa where Honeybush is very popular, it is named for its sweet brew, and for the sweet aroma of  the flowers.  This malted honey-like-brew has a delicious sweetness to it that makes it perfect for after a meal.

Our organic variety ensures that you will receive the best quality available from South Africa.

Organic Evening Blend
Our Price: $5.50
This spearmint is grown in Morocco where it is readily drunk as mint tea.  Another popular blend is mixing the spearmint along with Chinese green teas to add a more robust flavor.  Mint infusions are a popular after meal drink as they help to aid digestion.

The advantage to infusions over traditional teas is that they often contain no caffeine.  We enjoy our spearmint before bed time.  Good with honey or sugar!
Rooibos is technically not a tea, but an infusion.  It is made from the Aspalathus Linearis plant, within the fabaceae family.  This infusion contains no caffeine, and can brew quite strong.  In South Africa where Rooibos is very popular, it is common to add milk and sugar to the drink, a trend that has not quite caught on yet in the rest of the world.  This malted honey-like-brew has a delicious sweetness to it that makes it perfect for after a meal.

Our organic variety ensures that you will receive the best quality available.
While neither rooibos or honeybush are technically tea, but rather are infusions, we think this blend of the two rivals many teas we have had. Rooibos is made from the Aspalathus Linearis plant, within the fabaceae family and honeybush is made from a close relative in the Cyclopia genus. This infusion contains no caffeine, and can brew quite strong. In South Africa where rooibos and honeybush are very popular, it is common to add milk and sugar to the drink, a trend that has not quite caught on yet in the rest of the world. This malted honey-like-brew has a delicious sweetness to it that makes it perfect for after a meal with a subtle floral taste. Our organic variety ensures that you will receive the best quality available with large leaf size.

This tea is a blend of 50% of our rooibos and 50% of our honeybush.
Amba Lemongrass Strawberry Lemongrass
Amba Lemongrass
Our Price: $7.00
Strawberry Lemongrass
Our Price: $7.50
Amba doesn't just grow tea, they also grow a field of Lemongrass! This hardy plant is actually perfect for the harsh conditions on Amba.  A Lemongrass relative (Manna grass) is used to prepare the tea fields before new plantings! (It helps to redistribute nitrogen in the soil, while aerating at the same time).

This Lemongrass is treated with the same level of care and respect that Amba treats its tea.  Careful hand harvested batches that are then dried, and hand cut into smaller pieces for a better brewing.

Great for culinary dishes too!
This flavored herbal infusion combines the tart citrus notes of lemongrass with the sweet taste of strawberries. Mellowed with marigold blossoms; this medley of flavors comes together in a very unique tropical brew. Sun-dried lemongrass with freeze dried strawberries provide the perfect compliment to one another. Great hot or iced!

One of our favorite summer drinks; try adding freshly bruised mint leaves and sweeten to desired strength. For a more adult drink, try adding an extra sweetened version of this to a mojito with freshly cut strawberries and blueberries.

From our friends at Anteaques in Edinburgh, Scotland.
